I have always been a little obsessed with this particular photo shoot of Joyce Bryant... ✨
I had no idea that the great Zelda Wynn Valdes created dresses for everyone from Eartha Kitt, Dorothy Dandrige, Josephine Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, and Mae West to creating "Joyce Bryant’s (above) sexy aesthetic, as well as the iconic Playboy Bunny outfits. Valdes’ impact on both fashion and pop culture has been nothing short of legendary. Or rather, in her own modest words: “I just had a God-given talent for making people beautiful”.
