When your bestie is Blanche DuBois in "A Streetcar Named Desire" you travel 2000 miles to watch her crush it. Natalie Jones you were electric, beautiful and tragic and I love you so much. I would have traveled 20,000 miles for that. Mephians-you have one weekend left to see it! Go!! I love Memphis community theater. It's where I fell in love with acting, and where I discovered myself. This wonderful city supports the arts in ways incomparable to cities I've lived in all over the world. I'm so fortunate to have grown up in a city so rich with music and arts culture.
Seeing Natalie at the Germantown Community Theater in a Tennessee Williams play meant even more to me because this stage was the last time I ever performed in a play, which happened to be another of Tennessee Williams' classics: "The Glass Menagerie", and absolutely my favorite role of all the plays I did in Memphis. Thank you Bob Herrington for that-mad feels.
