I was dreamin' when I wrote this so sue me if I go too fast... Growing up as a figure skater Prince was my first role model who made me feel it was ok to be different from the rest. There are many lessons I learned from watching this man perform. Thank you for your gifts, you will be missed! : Be an individual, stand out, believe in your voice, don't apologize for your art, be provocative, but not just for the sake of being shocking, speak softly, but make your actions heard, pay respect to those who came before you while paving a road for those to come after you, and purple is always in style! ?
