Prince Rogers Nelson, known the world over as Prince, has died, the Associated Press reports. He was 57 years old. The musician’s publicist told the AP that Prince was found dead in his Paisley Park home in Chanhassen, Minn. Prince has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and has been a household name since 1982 – following the release of his album “1999.” He has won seven Grammy Awards, as well as an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score for “Purple Rain” in 1985.
