Checked my passport last night and realized 10 years ago today was the day I arrived in #NewYork with two suitcases, barely speaking English. A lot of things have changed (I'm no longer in my 20's, there are iPhones now, and something called the Cronut). But the same person next to me in this photo (who is incredibly photo shy) is still next to me today (we just met when this photo was taken). I'm so grateful for the friends, loved ones, and mentors whom have supported me since Day 1. And papa @danielboulud who brought me over to this big city. Ten years - not sure if this qualifies me as a real #Newyorker, but I've always been one at heart. #Nyc #I❤️NY
