This last December I had the opportunity to spend time in Australia w/ @surfrideraus and the #contikistorytellers team taking part and documenting the conservation efforts up and down the east coast. We saw first hand the effects plastic is having in our ocean and on the environment.
This is why efforts like this Saturday's beach cleanup/InstaMeet are so important for bringing awareness at a global level.
