#LonelyPlanet writer, @go2mattphillips, is currently adventuring around Mauritius in #Africa. Here he is (or a very similar silhouette) reaching the upper heights of Le Morne Brabant on Le Morne Peninsula.

Visible from much of southwestern #Mauritius, the iconic Le #Morne #Brabant is 556m high. It's a stunning rocky crag from which this beautiful #peninsula takes its name. Shaped like a hammerhead shark, the peninsula itself has some of the island's best beaches, now home to a number of upmarket hotels.
