Running the @BostonMarathon reminded me of all the unknowns that can come into play on our way to the finish line – both as runners, and as expecting mothers. Running is much like childbirth in so many ways, but the most important parallel is that I couldn’t do either one alone.
Thank you to @AndySpeer and @MattWilpers for getting me to race day feeling healthy and strong. Thank you @EveryMomCounts staff, @RunTeamEMC ambassadors, and @Oiselle – all of whom offered me steady love and support. Thank you to all who donated to my Crowdrise to help @everymomcounts make a difference for so many mothers.
