Happy 45th birthday to Finidi George! The winger represented Nigeria in two FIFA World Cups, 1994 and 1998. After playing for three different clubs in his home country, George arrived at AFC Ajax in 1993. His impact was immediate and he became a leading figure in a team which won eight major titles, including the 1995 UEFA Champions League. He also played several years in Spain with Real Betis and RCD Mallorca, and in England with Ipswich Town before retiring.
