Lately Mazzy has been really into takeout Indian so tonight, I took her to dinner at one of the tiny Indian restaurants on 6th Street with all the Christmas lights. She thought it was the greatest restaurant ever. @littlemissparty and I pretended it was Mazzy and Gavin's birthdays (yes, both of them) which is something I used to do with my friends when I was in my twenties. They turn on blinking lights and loud music and the whole restaurant claps along to an Indian version of happy birthday. Plus you get free mango ice cream with a candle in it. I don't know if the kids were more excited by the fake birthday or their moms straight up lying. Probably both. You can see it on ?: ilanawiles.
