My guardian angel is a woman named Rhoda A Hogan.
She was a trailblazer, a visionary, and someone who really really loved cats and wanted to help to end declawing. Cornell Feline Health Center @cornellvet received her generous bequest of $125,000 and said they would provide a variety of online videos and brochures to vets and cat owners that would reach thousands and that would help reduce the need for declawing. I found the 6 short videos but no one seems to have seen them, in a poll I took on Friday.
If you are a cat owner or vet and have seen or received any of this important info from Cornell, pls contact me asap. Cornell also said they would provide veterinary training on proper pain management, when declawing has to be performed as a last resort. This makes me sad because as we ALL know, declawing is NEVER necessary and Rhoda Hogan wanted declawing to completely end through legislation. Also if you can find out what else Cornell made from all that money, pls let me know. According to sources, the video was made in two days and cost a couple hundred dollars to make, if that. I'm sad to say that Cornell will not tell me what they made with Mrs Hogan's generous gift.
