Both my grandfather and his father struggled from clinical depression in a time where there were little to no resources available. Worse than that there was very little conversation or understanding surrounding mental illness. Our generation has opened up the conversation and I'm proud to be a part of it. People are sharing their stories on all platforms of social media and working to end the stigma of mental illness. We can all be a part of that change and I'd love to see my followers stand up together.
