Dude. You ever see your favorites in concert but a part of you knows it won't ever hold a candle to how it was "back in the day?"....so even if you are a blind respectful supporter ---part of you is like "I wonder what the feeling was to see Hendrix in 69 or The Stones in 72 or Zeppelin in 75 or MJ in 81 or Prince in 86....---dude I just saw Steve Miller tonight and I can't describe it: he and his band were in AWESOME form. As musicians they were beyond on point. As singers the harmonies were spot on. But man, his engineer had it mixed SO ON POINT. Jesus. Live sonics kill my soul man. You know how the Dap Tone cats or Jack White nails really good classic sounding studio craftsmanship? Just live it was awesome man. I can't tell you the amount of times I let stuff slide because of the legacy my heroes have left behind. This is truly 1st time I've been satisfied with how an act I loved from the 70s (60s/80s/90s too) sounds. Man. I gotta see #TheSteveMillerBand again and again.
