2005: A bruised shin wasn’t going to slow down Kobe Bryant. “It was actually sorer today than it was before the last game,” Bryant told reporters after dropping 42 points in the Lakers’ 117-94 win in Seattle.

Bryant shot 15-of-22 from the field, including a blistering 7-of-11 on 3-pointers, while Caron Butler poured in 31 points to help the Lakers rout the SuperSonics.
