Jazz been easing my mind lately. This been a stressful week of memorials/funerals/benefits. So I been goin heavy on fusion. Got to say #EddieJefferson is a special individual. Part ODB part Joe Williams part Bird. His delirious version of #BitchesBrew is nothing short of madness (hip hop heads you know how Ghostface does his trademark "I'll rhyme over anything, especially pre-existing tracks w vocals already on top of the song?)---well Eddie creates lyrics to instrumental jazz songs. It's not random---he studies the original solos VERBATIM and boom adds words. So those familiar with the chaos of Miles' classic should know he covers EVERY note to CRAZY effect. Jazz is a stress reliever!
