In a shock announcement, #Instagram has revealed that the amount of #selfies will be “limited” as a part of their #algorithm update ?

Last night, we received knowledge that in a forthcoming update, the Instagram #app would be able to block the front camera on all #Apple devices, in order to moderate the number of selfies each user could post to the platform.
The limit has apparently been set to ONE SELFIE PER DAY. This will also become a reality for #Samsung, #LG and #Nokia devices in the coming months.

According to an Instagram spokesperson, other types of media could also be moderated with the arrival of the feed sorting algorithm, for example anything with the #cat hashtag. This is in the aim to improve user experience on the platform and prevent unwanted media from appearing at the top of users' feeds.
