I had a curious comment left on #youtubelivvlo that caused me to feel uncomfortable, so I thought I would share it and get off my chest. *It is April 1st, but this is not a prank post. I got asked "Do you take any supplements for your workouts.. cuz I notice ur getting some tone/muscles! some of ur earlier videos like 5 years ago were pushed to me and u were really thin back then.. " I am sure this was not left in malice; however, it reminds me of the post I made prior about my changing body. My lifestyle has shifted dramatically and my body has changed with it. I talked about body flaws in a past post and how we need to ultimately feel good in our skin. Our body is a vehicle to take our soul through life and I believe I am serving a higher purpose by sharing my practice by teaching students #yogalivstyle and #LivHIIT. As teachers we put ourselves out on a limb each and everyday, growing and learning along the way. I no longer sit around and think how I can stay thin, rather I use my spare time to meditate on growing my practice to share with you. It is definitely not easy and if my muscles bugle from my efforts it's because of the hours of hard work I put into strengthening my practice. I hope you enjoy my continued journey from here, but do feel free to unfollow me should I not uplift or inspire you. A good quote I read today is "surround yourself with people who uplift you" and that is how I choose to spend my time, thoughts, and actions. #yourvibeattractsyourtribe Always share to spread light and love into the world.
