Welcome to another day in the deserted #MDASwestwing where more than 100 urgent dogs are in kennels & not ONE adopter in sight. Paws stick out under the kennelgates begging to be saved. This is the reality of the #MDASwestwing at Miami Dade Animal Services. It is unbearably hot and these dogs rarely get a visitor...one or two a day if they're lucky. The west wing is away from the main adoption building, and most adopters don't even set foot out here because they don't know it exists?. This is where the medium/large dogs and bully breeds are placed...the dogs that need the MOST help to be saved receive the LEAST public exposure, and the West Wing is often deserted. With NO EXPOSURE, these dogs are often CODE RED at the shelter. We really need your help to save lives. If you visit the shelter, PLEASE VISIT THE WEST WING DOGS and give them a chance to steal your heart. There are so many cuties out here- we know it will happen!
