Was asking Naiobi her thoughts on #sylvester the lion. She thinks he's quite cute and asked if I could perhaps give him a home. The reality is that it's really unfair to put a lion from the wild in a captive environment. They don't adapt well at all. @san_parks is doing everything in their power to recapture him and have several options as to what to do with him going forward. One of which is putting him back and securing the boundaries where he has escaped before. Another is a relocation to another Sanpark managed park. Several other offers have also been put forward. It appears as though euthanasia is off the table for the time being which is great news. Thanks for all the concern, we'll keep you updated as and when we hear or get news. Naiobi is now upset with me. Oh well, you can't please everyone.
