My boy Jack is 10 and a half years old and curious about pretty much everything, listening, learning and participating in life to the fullest. That said the state of the world is so hard to comprehend, explain or reason that I'm often left telling him, "I don't know why..." Most recently his fascination is with the selection process for both the Democratic and Republican nominees for president. What should be a fantastic opportunity to learn about becoming a world leader has all too often become an awkward and embarrassing series of questions on grace, modesty, humility, chivalry and common decency all of which seem perfectly obvious to a 10 year old but seem to completely escape those who hope to lead this great country... Let's hope we elect a leader worthy of our children's admiration.
