"Eclipsed". I had the absolute privilege of making the trip to NYC to see Danai Gurira's play "Eclipsed" (@eclipsedbway) a few weeks ago. It takes place in 2003 and follows five women brought together during the Liberian war.

I decided to do some experimenting while also paying a little tribute the play. So here it is! Far from perfect but I kinda like it. The red/blue theme comes straight from the picture on the playbill - it just seemed to fit so well with the final image of the play that stuck with me. My brain has been chewing it over ever since. War or Peace. Power or Wisdom. What would you do to survive? And what exactly is strength when overcoming seemingly impossible odds stacked against you.
