Meow, furrends! ?

So I just want to clarify something: I am NOT a (kitten) fosterer.
Actually, I don't even find that many kittens. ? Yes... Tyler, Hermès and Uno-James came to me as wee babies – but everypawdy else that found me were adult cats that were either living in a tiny space for so long (and had all their adoptions fall through), have special needs, were found abused, have some behavioral issues - or were about to be abandoned! ?? I have reached MY personal limit and while it has always been my dream to have as many, I did not actively search out any of my cats to take home just to make up the number.
Frankly, I'd like to think of my home as a cat sanctuary and while I'm not doing as much as other WONDERFUL and INSPIRATIONAL people out there like @loopylunakitty, @complicated_cats, @12catsfromflorida, @pinballscatproject or @raulthetherapycat, I do and give what I can with whatever resources I have and the donations I receive. (Thank you!!) Most of the care the "Squad" needs does not get shown on social media but make no mistake, this is a full-time voluntary (ie. unpaid) job. It is not glamorous, not always fun and involves tremendous sacrifice sometimes but like the accounts I just mentioned, it is done out of a sense of responsibility and love. ❤️ If you are comfortable with one or two or four furbabies, then do YOU! ??? I'm not trying to be a "crazy cat lady" and that was never my message. The two things I do advocate - and maybe even get a bit preachy about sometimes, sorry ? - is "fix your pets" and "adopt, don't shop" but even then, it's entirely your choice. ?? Ultimately, I can agree to disagree so how about we keep on admiring all the cats, OK? .. OK! ?
