#WhatTheFlicka is talking about life with teens today. I am including this photo, of the girls giving my husband a happy birthday kiss last week, because in a way this teenage era is the sweetest time with our girls, and in a way it is the most difficult to maneuver. I am just learning the lesson of STOP TALKING! If I can keep quiet with them, and not jump in with my opinion or advice or admonition, that silence creates room for them, and they open up even more. A friend of mine said that silence on a parent's part is like sodium pentothal, truth serum, they spill everything. @whattheflicka
