Today Jian Ghomeshi was acquitted of the crimes he committed. Please don't let this stop you from naming your abuser.
I was interviewed by Jian on CBC while on my book tour. It was very uncomfortable. In fact, after that interview I did something I've never done before, I called my agent and cried. Judging from all the feedback about the interview- my discomfort was well masked.
Before I left the CBC building, to continue to promote my book, for no reason other than for his own ego I suppose... Jian gave me a copy of HIS book and signed it. This is what he wrote. I've never read the book. And the funny thing is, all anyone will ever be able to read about him, from now on, is what a loser he is.
