A short sampling includes Francesca Woodman, Sally Mann, and Bertien van Manen. The former theater director encourages girls interested in photography to create a lot, even if that means dealing with the frustration of not getting the shot you want time after time. “Sometimes the flow and sparks will come after so many clicks,” she says. “Work through your doubts; be open and dive into the obsession.” - Words by @hannamariehoward This Instagram story is a part of The @GirlGazeProject, celebrating the next generation of female photographers.
