It is estimated that two million, which is 25% of Afghan children as young as six, work even though labor laws forbid it. It is so pervasive that the authorities turn a blind eye. Parents mired in extreme poverty need the money, and the employers like paying less for young workers. ImagineAsia's (@imagine_asia) mission is to work in partnership with local leaders and NGO's to help provide educational resources and opportunities to children in Afghanistan.
