Look out world… here comes Derek! When he’s not busy running along the beach, this outrageously cute baby #wombat can be found melting hearts on @Tasmania’s North East Coast. This fluffy little fellow lives on the beautiful #FlindersIsland and is lucky enough to be cared for by Kate Mooney – who’s also known by locals as the ‘Wombat Lady of Flinders’ - for her wonderful work taking care of orphaned native wildlife. @seanscottphotography captured this incredible footage of Derek on the move, and if you think he’s going fast here, just wait until he’s fully grown and will be able to reach speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour!
