I get asked frequently what I do when training my legs. In all honesty I don't stick to one set of exercises for more then 3 wks. I love to mix it up. When over in Marbella I trained with a friend of mine & Olly's @elliottupton at UP Marbella. He's a wicked trainer & before I arrived he asked me what I wanted to work on. I said legs & glutes. I always opt for legs & glutes when being trained by someone else as it's usually the area I tend give up on rep wise when training myself. So, having that extra push to reach my full potential on leg day is what I need. Here's what Elliot had me do. It was horrendous, but I loved it too. I'm a sick son of a bitch like that ?
3 sets of each.
A1 Banded glute bridge x 6 reps
A2 Wide squat x 12 reps
A3 Upton lunge x 25 reps
(Aka reverse lateral walking lunge Or curtesy lunges. He just likes to name them after himself. Twat.) ?
B1 Narrow stance heels elevated squat x 6 reps
B2 DB walking lunge x 12 reps
B3 quads extension x 25 reps
5x 30 secs sprints on the Watt bike (this was the part I puked in my mouth and began to shake)
