My Favourite Furniture @knollinc

This chair seems to come up again and again for me - I have loved it for as long as I can remember being aware of furniture design. I moved to London from Sweden to study art history and design which is where I learnt more about this chair. After that I worked for Skandium where we were given a special talk about Breuer and the materials used for the production of this beautiful chair - we were even taken to visit the Knoll showroom specifically to learn about these chairs! I love the sculptural feeling that this chair has. It’s more than just a piece of furniture, it’s like a piece of art, but at the same time an incredibly functional piece of art! I like the clean, but complex, lines and the lightness that the see-through effect gives. And of course, it’s very comfortable.
