For those of you asking when Trump has "ever encouraged violence," here's a video for you of a young man being brutally hit in the face while leaving one of Trump's rallies. He did NOTHING to the man who lunged out and hit him. This young man simply exercised his constitutional right to assemble, and protest. He followed orders to leave. And what happened? He was cracked in the FACE with an elbow. The police arrested the man in the cowboy hat for assault. But Trump is "looking into paying the man's legal fees." Yup. To defend his actions. He doesn't think he did anything wrong?? (He has NOT said a word about looking into paying the hospital bill for the kid who got hit.) Another instance, as quoted in Reich's article on fascism, a few weeks ago, "after a handful of supporters punched and attempted to choke a Black Lives Matter protester at one of his campaign rallies, Trump said 'maybe he should have been roughed up.'" But no, he's totally not inciting or defending belligerent violence. Especially not against young black men protesting his racist rants. Again, hatred does NOT make America great. And if you don't think what you've read here is seriously fucked up, if it doesn't make your heart hurt and your head fucking ache, then go ahead and sling all the petty insults at me you want, but please kindly unfollow me and take the hate elsewhere.
