When it comes to talking about developing bouldering areas in the Lower Aosta Valley in the last years, a few names comes to my mind... @00pellet and @rivoleez for most of the moderates, @nk_ceria and myself for the hardest boulders...
Yesterday, all togheter like the good old days, we went on the Hunt in a new area but immediately got stopped by the big quantity of snow on the boulders! So plan B was to drive down to a lower area, Outrefer, home of some of the best boulders in the Valley!
One boulder has been on my mind since I discovered it a couple of years ago... The Delusion Project!
Me and Niky went to clean it properly and we were ready for action!
Beta for the crux was totally different, a big powerful move for Niky and a few shorter and technical moves for me! But the difficulty stayed more or less the same! After a little bit we went for the back to back send and one of the best lines in the Valley was born!
Doppia Fama 8a+ish.
