Around the world today a whole bunch of people are (or, have been) celebrating #InternationalWomensDay - a worthy occasion indeed. To mark the day we've teamed up with @gadventures as a sponsor for their Planet Her exhibition, live this week, in Berlin featuring photography work from the talented duo @uncornered_market - two of our #lpPathfinders.

Audrey, from Uncornered Market, gives some more info about the event: 'The exhibition brings together photographs and stories of women from 20 countries around the world, from Bolivia to Tajikistan, to highlight their strength, resourcefulness and diversity. Additionally, Planet Her is a discussion regarding the potential of travel to create opportunities for local women that facilitate financial independence, access to education, and self-empowerment.
One of the many inspiring women we’ve met during our travels is Servanda from a village outside Cochabamba, Bolivia. She proudly showed us her farm, which included ten dairy cows, and explained how she was using access to credit to increase the number of cows and expand her farm. Her goal was to be able to better take care of her family — both her children and grandchildren — and that the farm could also provide opportunities for them going forward.
This is just one example of how investing in women is investing in our future generations. #IWD2016'
