#IWD2016: Today is #InternationalWomensDay and we celebrate @moore_rachel! "The first thing I had to over come was the idea that dreams only come true in the distant future. So often we have big life goals or huge dreams that never come to fruition, because we never sit down and believe they can actually happen. For me the first step was sitting down and making lists of what I needed, the steps I had to take, how much I needed to save each month/year to make this dream into a tangible goal. The second step was learning how to actually sail! I’d dreamed of sailing and living on a boat since I was a little girl but my first time ever sailing was at age 20! And now the last major thing we are over coming is all the boat projects! It’s always something on a boat and right now we are trying to refit and strengthen every system aboard before we finally push off the dock to sail across oceans." #GoPro #GoProGirl
