If you're the parent of a kid 10 or under, they probably can't remember a time when we did not have a person of color or a woman running for president. We still have a long way to go towards equality in this country and in the world, but when I was a kid it was difficult to imagine a person of color, a woman, or a non Christian for that matter, legitimately running for president with a chance to win in our country. I remember Geraldine Ferraro, when I was a kid, but at least where I grew up no one really gave her a real shot. Today's children at least grow up thinking no matter who you are it's possible to aspire to the highest office in the land...as long as you can raise a couple billion dollar$! #stepbystep #equality #womensday #ERA #campaigfinancereform #equalopportunity #equalpay
