Paola Gonzalez, 23, danced to a set by the electronic group @メジャー・レーザー in #Havana on Saturday night. The group, led by the DJ and producer @ディプロ, performed at a few different venues throughout the city over the course of the weekend, which culminated in a free concert attended by an estimated 450,000 to a half-million stylish locals. “I know you’ve been waiting a long time for a party like this,” @ディプロ called out to the sea of pulsating young Cubans during the concert. With @ディプロ’s influence reaching new heights, the embargo at its most relaxed in a half-century and travel to Cuba becoming increasingly accessible, @メジャー・レーザー began exploring a concert in Havana over a year ago. It was the first show in Cuba by a major pop act from the U.S. since the reinstatement of diplomatic relations between the 2 countries in December 2014.
