An arc of sand being blown from the top of a very large sand dune, what this photo isn't giving is a justified scale. Yesterday evening went from perfect and calm to a full fledged sandstorm in minutes at #greatsanddunesnationalpark. With winds well into the 50mph zone we watched as one of our tents went tumbling across the dunes. I chased it for the better part of a mile, with a full load of camera gear on my back, through the sand and difficult terrain before it took to the sky and was lost forever. We packed what was left and hiked out in the dark against the wind and did the only thing you can do in situations like this, laugh about it. @gregoryalanisakov @andy_mann @calstrin @3stringsproductions
