Welcome to Instagram, @WHKitchenGarden! In March 2009, the First Lady broke ground on the South Lawn for the @The White House Kitchen Garden. Ever since, the garden has allowed garden to table to become a reality right in the backyard of the White House. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs are grown each season with the help of students and shared with @MiriamsKitchen, a local organization that prepares healthy meals for the homeless.
