YOU CAN DO IT! This determined (and adorable) little hatchling was super keen to experience his first swim off @heronisland – it just took a bit of extra muscle to get up that hill! This tropical paradise in @queensland’s @southerngreatbarrierreef region is an important nesting location for Green and Loggerhead Turtles. By the time you leave here you’ll be a turtle expert, thanks to the island’s team of passionate nature guides who you'll find at the onsite visitor centre and even on the beaches during turtle season.
