This is somewhat controversial. I read a comments section on soundcloud where a dude said "oh preem used this same snare on Nas song." For the life of me I don't get what the purpose of that comment was. Do cats say that about rock bands? "Yo he played the same drum set at the last show." Maybe I'm buggin but I hate shit like that. It doesn't mean you have a great ear or you are any more intuitive than people think you are. I believe cats say sucker shit like that to demean your work. It's a slick way of insulting without insulting. Who gives a fuck if the same snare is on a few different songs? You soulless mofo's can't dissect the funk no matter how much beat ratting you do.
