Leonardo DiCaprio has finally received an Oscar!

A recognition that is well deserved to say the very least. His performance for The Revenant was (for a lack of a better word within my vocabulary) nothing short of EPIC. What more was his speech where he took the opportunity to speak about climate change. It was such a honor and blessing for me to be able to meet him last year in New York. I will never forget how humble and genuine he was.
Here is what he said for those of you that missed it. "...climate change is real, and it's happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work together and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters or the big corporations, but who speak for all of humanity; and for the indigenous people of the world; for the billions and billions of underprivileged people who will be most affected by this; for our children's children; and for all the people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed. Let us not take this planet for granted; I do not take tonight for granted. "








Bless you for your efforts to wake people up to what needs to be done now. You made a difference when you had the best chance to do so.
