The previous owner of this abandoned plane is Victor Bout. He is currently spending 20 years in prison for illegal arms trade. Victor's brother was the base for the movie "Lord of War". The story says when things got too hot, they paid a pilot $20.000 to fly the plane into the desert and abandon it. Visiting places like this is the best history class. Have you seen "Lord of War"? Amazing movie! ?
