The entryway wall of Nan’s Brooklyn brownstone is covered with photos of friends. Some she got to know over just a few days, others, like Simon from England, she’s met up with all the way in Paris for a tea. But all were guests she met on Airbnb, while hosting in her peaceful garden apartment.

Nan wanted to commemorate the special memories her guests helped her create, and came up with the idea to photograph each of them on the steps of the house. And as memento of their stay, she gave them a copy to remember her by.
