I thought about the possibility of this moment day in and day out for so many years and then on February 20th my dream actually came true. This month in 1998 changed me as a person forever. Walking in the Opening Ceremony representing my country, skating to my potential through shaking fearful legs to the feeling of indescribable pride standing on that podium listening to the national anthem play as our flag was being raised. Thank you to every one of my fans that were cheering me on that day ??
