#OnThisDay in 2013, Antonio Roma died aged 80. The Argentine goalkeeper started his professional career
with Ferrocarril Oeste in 1955, where he played until 1959. He was then transferred to Boca Juniors, where he stayed until his retirement in 1972, winning several titles and becoming one of the biggest idols of the club. Nicknamed Tarzan for the way of throwing himself for the ball, Roma made a total of 42 appearances for Argentina, including at the 1962 and 1966 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
