I met @Brillz when I lived in NYC in 2004...I was signed as an artist during that time to S-Curve/EMI Records and Sami (Brillz) was hired to be the keyboard player in my band...we immediately connected on a soul level. Before my record was even released, I was dropped from the label (who's sorry now ???) and was completely devastated thinking my life/career was over, even though it was really just beginning. Sami and I said fuck it and we moved back to LA (where I am originally from) with our dreams and $1000 borrowed dollars to our name (thanks @stevegreenwell ...we are forever grateful ??). We lived in a tiny room next to my dad's studio with no shower and cockroaches basically in every corner...no joke. We hustled our fucking balls off to live our dreams...and we believed in each other when literally no one else would. I was there for the birth of Brillz and saw and continue to see how hard my man works on not just his art but his human being. I am so proud of you and continue to watch you grow in ways I never thought possible! BLESS THE FUCK UP! ?
