@MartyMurawski and I always joked about him getting a cover of @TheSkateboardMag with a manual sequence. We would shoot photos all the time, but—as is the case with most tech skaters—we had a tough time shooting a still of a fakie heelflip 5-0 fakie flip out. It just was never in the cards for Marty to end up as a cover boy. Until one day he thought of a super stunt that he thought he could do that would make a great still. Not that he was expecting a cover, but we thought it would be cool enough and gnarly enough to get it in to The Mag. When we showed up to the spot, Marty tried to turn his idea into a reality, but with little success. So, as the sun was setting we decided to just shoot a backside flip on a hip in the same ditch. Through some interesting lighting, random flash placement, and some excellent style on his part, we ended up with a pretty awesome photo! That photo landed on the cover of the The Skateboard Mag photo annual. After all that thought put in to getting a gnarly still, Marty just did a trick that wasn't too hard for him and ended up in a place he thought he would never be. ?: @priceyhot || #ShootAllSkaters
