A leap to TV by beauty expert & YouTuber @deepicam / “I was working in the beauty industry and had just started a YouTube channel when the second video I filmed got picked up by Buzzfeed. It went viral with over 9M views. I got an email from the TODAY Show asking me to come on and demo the trick from my video. I’ll never forget that day: I was sitting at my desk at work and my heart dropped into my stomach. It was the sign I’d been waiting for and I immediately put in my two weeks notice. It’s scary to think about now because I’d never done live TV and I could have blown it! Luckily, I loved every second of it and today, I’m working as a full-time on-air personality, YouTuber and as an official TODAY Show Style Tastemaker.” ⠀
