This is for you. The girl who trains in short shorts and a sports bra. The girl who's crop top is a little on the small side. And ya know who else? The girl who prefers to train in pants. Or sweats. Or a tank top. Or a t shirt. Ya know why? Because it doesn't fucking matter. How dare you shame someone for training in what they're comfortable in. "But she only wears that for attention", maybe she's confident? Maybe she feels good and wants to show it off? Maybe she just wants to let her freak flag fly? Or maybe she's just wearing what's comfortable. I have seen and heard way too much of WOMEN talking down on other women because of their workout attire. And the worst part?? It's usually very similar to what they wear themselves. I personally wear what I'm most comfortable in. Usually pants, but hey sometimes I like boom boom shorts. Sometimes it's 100 degrees in FL and I like sports bras. But ya know what? I'm in the gym to train, as is everyone else. What you're doing is much more important than what you're wearing. 200lbs is still 200lbs whether you're in sweats, pants, shorts, shirtless, WHATEVER. Don't you dare discredit someone based off of what they're wearing. So what if a chicks ass cheeks fall out of her little lulu shorts in her video? You don't HAVE TO watch it. You don't HAVE TO even follow her. Let her be her. Oh but there's no problem with a gymnast training in a leotard, right? Or a body builder practicing posing in under wear? Or a guy training shirtless? We are strong women. Why are we tearing each other down for being confident, or even worse, criticizing one who may not be so confident. Telling her to put clothes on when she's looking for someone to tell her she looks great. There is a different kind of confidence that comes with strength that more and more women are discovering through CrossFit and Weightlifting. Help to build others rather than bring them down. No satisfaction comes from that nasty comment you're about to make about someone, whether it's to them directly or behind their back. Stop hating, start loving. Be a better person. #StrongWomen #EvenStrongerTogether #BeSupportiveNotJealous
