Someone asked me recently, "how are you doing ?" and this person really meant it. They asked for a real response, so I answered back with a straightforward non skirting the issue reply. The conversation continued and we both threw some truth logs on the fire and kibitzed for a little bit. I was surprised how this little talk became a greater conversation when I reflected on it later. I started to realize how few people in our lives really take the time to understand what the people right in front of them are dealing with or excited to share. How little we open up and let others really see us.
If you care about someone you should tell them today. If you miss someone you should let them know. If you are offended by someone's actions towards you or someone you care for be assertive and tell them.
Life is short and getting shorter by the day so why not make some bold moves right now and stop ignoring your needs.
I've had incredible people in my life come and go. I have learned from wonderful friends and acquaintances.
Today is day 1 of incredible possibilities.
