Lee Bender was the kick in the ass that a lazy 17-year-old skate photographer needs. @onesickrace was always coming up with ideas that took extra work and he would manage to talk me into ridiculous situations to get rad photos. For this particular shot, Lee and I drove around all night in his Honda Civic finding plywood at construction sites and holding it to the roof while we drove back and forth to the spot. Once we had built a runway and landing for this rainbow rail that sat in the median of an extremely busy street, we turned in for the night around 4:00 AM. Lee showed up at my parents house at 7:00 AM, got my mom to let him in and was standing over my bed around 7:03. He literally pulled me out of bed and drove me to the spot. We ended up getting one of my favorite photos of all time and it ran in @TheSkateboardMag as an exposed feature where I pretty much told this same story. Lee helped set me up with the mentality to go above and beyond to make rad skate photos. Everyone needs a Lee. ?:@priceyhot || #ShootAllSkaters
